Albert supports the global Film and TV industry to reduce the environmental impacts of production and to create content that supports a vision for a sustainable future. The BAFTA-owned, industry-backed organization offers online tools and training, events, practical guidance and thought leadership to all screen industry professionals to help them identify and act upon opportunities on and off screen which can lead to effective climate action (Bafta, undated).

 

In regards to my project, carrying out the Albert award has lead me to become much more mindful of my sustainable practices both within this project and outside of this project. Prior to starting this project I had planned to carry out the majority of the work on my own hardware. However, after finding out that the Confetti building operates on green energy, I shifted the workload so that the majority of the work that I completed was done so within Confetti. Alongside this I changed my primary mode of travel to Confetti to public transport, and when possible I walked too to further increase the project’s level of sustainability.
